Ten countries alone have 57 percent of all students trapped in centralised lockdowns

Restrictions on schools and colleges have now completed over 60 days in countries with large student populations.

Students refer to those enrolled in pre-primary, primary, lower-secondary, upper-secondary and tertiary levels of education as defined by UNESCO. Countries under localised lockdowns were not considered for this list. Regions of some of the listed countries may have been under local lockdowns for longer periods than indicated. Days counted as on 24 May.
