Southwest Airlines has reached 2019 staffing levels after hiring push

The nation's four largest airlines still have about 10,000 fewer employees combined than they did in 2019 before massive cuts during the COVID-19 pandemic. Of those, only Dallas-based Southwest Airlines has hired back to the same number of staffers it had in May 2019.
