The federal Rural Health Transformation Program will grant $50 billion to states to expand access to health care. By late November, nearly 40 states had released their project narrative, the main part of the application, which describes proposed initiatives such as using drones to deliver medication and bringing telehealth to libraries, day cares, and senior centers. More than a dozen states have also released their budget narratives with potential spending plans.
