If a consumer sells the product on the private market, the new owner has access to the full functionality of the original product.
The manufacturer’s publicly available documents do not contain instructions on how to perform a factory reset, and, while there is a process for moving the camera and handheld unit to a new wireless network, it does not appear to be possible to simply instruct the camera to “forget” the network it was on.
However, it is possible to remove the connection between the mobile app and the camera, leaving the camera ready to be attached to a different user’s mobile app.
Between the ability to move WiFi networks and the ability to decouple the camera from one mobile app and connect it to a new one, a new owner would have the ability to access the full functionality of the baby monitor.
