Common Sense Media is a nonprofit organization that makes media recommendations for kids and families. They published a 2021 study titled 'The Common Sense Census: Media use by Tweens and Teens' in which they surveyed 1,306 8-to-18-year-olds nationwide to examine changes in screen media among youth during the COVID-19 pandemic, compared to a 2019 survey issued to 1,677 participants with the same methodology. Results show that each age group are reporting a higher amount of screen time on average.
