Temperature highs break 100 degrees Fahrenheit in Iowa City

Despite heat advisories being issued in Iowa City, the first week of classes at the University of Iowa continued as planned. Projected temperatures for the week of Aug. 27 are considerably lower at around 80 degrees Fahrenheit.
