This chart shows each individual day's numbers of coronavirus-related deaths, as they are reported daily,, county by county, in Illinois, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Use the drop-down menu on the upper left side, to search for a state, an individual county, or a local region.  Each bar graph shows only the number of deaths reported on a single day - not cumulative cases - so the hope is that each of these graphs will drop steeply downward to zero and stay there - meaning no new coronavirus deaths reported each day. Each area can be viewed in two ways:  1) actual daily new coronavirus-related deaths, day by day, and 2) moving seven-day averages of daily new fatalities, which "smooth out" the last seven days of deaths, to give a clearer view of how things are doing in a given area.  NBC5 and Telemundo update this chart every 24 hours.
