Here's a look at the biggest winners of Powerball and other lottery games since 1985, when the Iowa Lottery opened for business.

Data as of November 2024. Of the 27 people who won over $5 million, nine won Powerball, seven won the Iowa Lottery, five won Lotto America, three won Hot Lotto and one person each won Wheel Spin Show, Lucky for Life and Lucky Day.
