Acid rain impacts at Mammoth Cave National Park

The amount of nitrogen and sulfur annually deposited through acid rain has decreased since 2009, though drops in sulfur levels are much more significant. The National Park Service says the growth and health of trees and plants in the park is being negatively impacted by acid rain.
