CPS Major Revenues 2015-2025

Evidence-based funding from the state, pandemic-era federal relief and continued surpluses and pension help from the city of Chicago's special taxing districts known as TIFs have helped prop up CPS' budgets in recent years.

The "other" category includes surplus TIF revenues from the city as well as the city's contribution to the MEABF pension for non-teacher CPS staff.
