K-12 vaccination rates for measles

Herd immunity for measles is considered to kick in when more than 95% of a population is protected. During the 2024–25 school year, an average of 94.6% of students statewide had received a measles vaccine. Several counties had vaccination rates below the threshold needed for herd immunity.
