Collective labor rights are losing ground globally

Collective labor rights, such as the right to form and join a union, have become much weaker around the world. A team of researchers assesses labor rights in all countries in the world, assigning each nation a score on a four-point scale. It observed a sharp decline from an average of 2.06 in 1994 to 1.03 in 2022.
