Summer and Winter Olympic Medals: Distribution difference more and less winning countries

The data was organized into quartiles to account for outlier data. This comparative chart compares the medal distribution between more and less winning countries in general. "Less Winning" represents countries between the 25th and 50th percentile, while "More Winning" represents countries between the 50th and 75th percentile, thereby covering data within the interquartile range and eliminating outlier data. Notice that there is a similar distribution between summer and winter medals. The countries with more medals appear to have a higher percentage of winter medals than the countries with less medals.
