When did Wharton MBAs become so risk adverse? Not only do far fewer of the school's graduates launch their own startups. A large and growing percentage of Wharton MBAs are sponsored by their employers and return to them once they graduate. Last year, for instance, 12.3% of the students were sponsored and returned to their pre-MBA employers.
