Meanwhile, the share of young grads in low-wage jobs — that don't require a degree — has remained tiny.

Middle-income occupations not requiring a degree are excluded. A job is classified as requiring a degree if at least 50 percent of its workers report needing a bachelor's or higher. Otherwise, it is classified as a non-college job. Recent graduates are those aged 22–27 with a bachelor's degree or higher.
