Number of Manhattan apartment sales per quarter since 2016

While a few weeks of Q2 2026 sales have yet to be recorded by the NYC Department of Finance, Manhattan closed sales are currently tracking 16% below the same period last year. Tight inventory and dwindling new development supply has become a growing factor over the past several quarters.
