Estimated maximum tax bills in county, cities based on tax caps

Kansas City, Kansas residents with a $200,000 home would see roughly $1,700 in combined city and county property taxes on their Unified Government bill if commissioners adopt their approved maximum tax rate later this year, according to Unified Government data. The county administrator's office in July said it does not plan to recommend commissioners adopt that cap.
