Pennsylvania’s Projected 2050 Population

Pennsylvania’s population is projected to grow by only 1.6% by 2050, with significant population decline in 41 counties that are mostly rural and in the north and west. Bucks County is the only local county expected to lose residents, but Philadelphia’s population is projected to grow by 15% by 2050.
