Where Income Has Increased the Most in Philadelphia

The neighborhoods south of Center City and west of Broad Street — Point Breeze, Grays Ferry, and Graduate Hospital — have seen median household income double over the last 10 years, even after adjusting for inflation. In Fishtown, Northern Liberties, and Kensington, income grew by 63%. Income growth was relatively flat in the Northeast, and declined in Southwest Philadelphia.
