Kerosene production vs consumption trend

Kerosene use and production in India have fallen sharply over the past decade. Production declined from 7.56 million tonnes in 2014-15 to 1.01 million tonnes in 2024-25 (provisional), while consumption dropped even more steeply from 6.83 million tonnes in 2015-16 to just 0.41 million tonnes.
