Construction unions donate big to Bay Area lawmakers

During the last two election cycles, the trades raised $23 million for California state legislative campaigns.

Analysis Includes contributions from the following trades: boilermakers, bricklayers, carpenters, IBEW and electrical trades, elevator constructors, insulators, journeymen, general laborer, labor councils, operating engineers, painters, plumbers and fitters, roofers, sheet metal workers, sprinkler fitters, Teamsters, as well as the State Building and Construction Trades Council of California.
