State standards for PFAS in drinking water

Eleven states have adopted limits for PFAS "forever chemicals" in public drinking water systems. A nationwide standard enacted by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency last month will require all states to meet even stricter pollution thresholds for the chemicals.
