Despite a statewide moratorium on evictions, landlords evicted hundreds of Mecklenburg County residents between October 2020 and March 2021, many of whom lived in low-income neighborhoods around uptown.
Most evictions occurred in the poorer neighborhoods of north and west Charlotte.
