The Uneven Road to HPV Vaccination in LAC

HPV vaccination coverage has been anything but stable in LAC. Each panel shows one country's trajectory from 2010 to 2024. Peru surged from 38% (2021) to 97% (2024). Colombia is still recovering from a vaccine scare that crashed coverage from 89% to 6%. Grenada collapsed from 74% to 5%. Jamaica has never exceeded 24%. The pandemic amplified pre-existing differences in program resilience.
