South Florida sea level rise

The relative sea level trend at Virginia Key, adjacent to Biscayne Bay, is rising 0.12 inches per year since 1930, or 1.2 feet per century.

Note: Mean sea level is relative to a previous period of data collected by NOAA in order to standardize the effect of seasonal fluctuations.
