Typical student debt in Minn. falling slightly

For recipients of Associate and Bachelor's degrees from Minnesota schools, the median debt load has fallen slightly over the last decade, while debt for graduate degrees is largely stable. About half of the roughly 40,000 students graduating with educational debt in Minnesota each year are those receiving bachelor’s degrees.

*Does not include students who did not graduate or those who graduated without debt.
