Notes: Data for each year are from the Current Population Survey and Annual Social and Economic Supplement. The Affordable Care Act was enacted in 2010 and later established Health Insurance Marketplaces. Enrollment in the marketplaces started in October 1, 2013 and became fully certified and operational by January 1, 2014.
