State compliance with federal rules for Medicaid automatic renewals

Some states have been assessing the eligibility of households as a whole and in the process disenrolling individuals who should stay covered by Medicaid including children. Federal rules require states to assess the eligibility of each person individually, regardless of other household members' eligibility.
