Nearly all of tech companies' water use is at data centers

Sustainability reports from Google and Meta, the companies that provide the most detail about water use at data centers, show that their water use is growing, and that nearly all of the water they report consuming is used at data centers. This data is what companies are willing to report, and not necessarily all their water use.
