2018 Businessweek Student Survey: Diversity of Recruiters

What is the worst label to tag on an MBA program? Try “regional school.” In other words, the program is dismissed as a specialized factory that churns out talent for the local blue chips. When it comes to drawing employers from an array of industries and locations, survey respondents ranked USC Marshall as the best – a testament, perhaps, to the rabidly helpful Trojan Network, whose mantra may as well be “Leave no Marshall MBA behind.” Michigan Ross and Cornell Johnson round out the Top Three. Surprises? How about DC-based Howard University, which ranks ahead of Wharton, Columbia, and MIT Sloan. By the same token, Stanford GSB doesn’t even crack the Top 30, which may owe to their students’ traditionally custom career paths.
