Charity gifts and pledges from top 50 US donors through 2022

Donations fell sharply to about $14 billion in 2022, from more than $33 billion in 2021, as the COVID-19 pandemic ebbed. This total was far higher in 2006, when Warren Buffett made large pledges to foundations.
