To calculate security budget allocated per employee across security programs in the Healthcare sector, the security budget was divided by the total number of employees in the enterprise, before finding the average percent among the market sector. High and low outliers or information that appeared inaccurate were excluded from the dataset. It should be noted that, while this can be used as a comparison among other security programs in your sector, sectors vary widely on a number of factors, including employee size, number of locations, etc.
