Measure 1.1.3 Rate of perinatal mortality 

Definition: Perinatal mortality is defined as the death of a baby within 28 days of birth (neonatal death) or of a fetus (unborn child) of at least 20 completed weeks' gestation or, if gestation is not known, with a birthweight of at least 400 grams. Data quality statement: data excludes women whose Indigenous status was not stated; terminations of pregnancy for maternal psychosocial indications; and births less than 20 weeks' gestation
