Ipsos’ Global Consumer Confidence Index is down 0.5 point since last month and sits at 47.7. The index declined in back-to-back months and is now 1.2 points below its reading from this time last year. Among 29 economies measured, five countries show significant gains in consumer sentiment, while seven countries show a notable decline. All four sub-indices are down significantly this month.
