Amount of emergency department visits in N.J. that are for RSV

More than half of the counties in New Jersey have a "very high" percentage of emergency department visits for Respiratory Syncytial Virus, or RSV, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Respiratory Illness Data Channel.

This choropleth New Jersey county map shows 12 counties colored red have a "very high" percentage of emergency department visits for RSV, two counties shaded bright orange have a "high" percentage and seven counties colored yellow have a "moderate" percentage of ER visits for RSV, as of Dec. 19th.
Emergency department data are collected through the National Syndromic Surveillance Program.
