Population compared with COVID vaccine allocations, cases, and deaths by race

While Black Chicagoans make up 29 percent of the city, that population has experienced 39 percent of the city's total COVID-related deaths. And While Latinx Chicagoans make up 28 percent of the city's population, they've made up 34 percent of its COVID cases. Thus far, neither demographic has received vaccine doses that match their population, nor their share of COVID cases and deaths.
