Proposed Atlanta fire salaries vs. pay study recommendations

The Atlanta City Council is set to vote on the city's annual budget this month. Pay raises for fire department personnel are on the horizon, but the proposed raises for most lower ranks are less than what was recommended in a 2019 pay study. Note: With the exception of the firefighter rank, all salaries shown are for the highest tier and pay class within each rank.
