Markups on interbank rates by service provider

moneyland.ch calculated the average markups above interbank currency exchange rates based on samples across 14 days in January and February 2026.

The calculations do not account for possible foreign transaction fees. These fees apply in addition to currency exchange markups.
The currency exchange markups apply to both card-based payments and to cash withdrawals. Postfinance and Raiffeisen are exceptions, as these two banks use different currency exchange markups for cash withdrawals.
