Locality opioid spending on law enforcement

This chart shows how localities spent $3.99 million in opioid settlement funds on law enforcement purposes between July 1, 2024 and June 30, 2025.

This spending made up more than 23.8% of all opioid settlement dollars spent by local governments over Fiscal Year 2025. Localities spent 9.6% more on law enforcement than in the year prior. See the accompanying table for details on expenditures.
