Oklahoma's Hospital Landscape

Of Oklahoma's 127 licensed hospitals, 85 are classified as general medical-surgical, 40 as critical access, and two are rural emergency hospitals. Of the 33 hospitals that have closed since 2007, a dozen were located in rural communities with few other options for care.
