Education Savings Accounts ELA proficiency 2022-26

Fewer Education Savings Accounts students met or exceeded proficiency expectations in ELA than in public schools in every participating county in 2026, according to TDOE data. As statewide ELA achievement continues to rise, average ELA achievement among ESA participants decreased in 2026 - including, for the first time, in Shelby County.
