For the comparison, Atlantic Money calculated the costs of different providers for various transactions on July 2022. The costs result partly from the fees charged for a transaction (e.g. €3 at Atlantic) and a mark-up in the exchange rate. The latter results in less arriving at the recipient than at the current exchange rate (which Atlantic Money or Wise offer) and must therefore also be included in the costs.
