Four-year graduation rates for Black students and all students in LAUSD

The four-year cohort graduation rate measures the rate at which students graduate with a regular high school diploma within 4 years, not counting students who receive a GED or other alternative diploma. The gap between the Black student graduation rate and that of all students has been small but stubborn over the past few years, with a reduction from 2.8% in 2020-2021 to 0.5% the following school year, 1.7% the year after, and returning to 2.8% in 2023-24.*
