This table ranks the 10 largest film-related labor markets among the 30 metro areas analyzed, based on reported employment across film-related occupations. It also shows how concentrated those jobs are locally, their share of metro employment, and how each market ranks for cost-of-living-adjusted pay.

Employment Rank orders metro areas by reported film-related employment, from the largest reported job count to the smallest.
Film-Related Workers / Jobs Reported is the combined employment reported across the selected core film-related occupations, not total film-industry payroll employment.
Film-Job Concentration Level is based on the location quotient, which compares the local concentration of selected film-related occupations with the national average.
A location quotient of 1.0 represents the national average; values above 1.0 indicate greater concentration, while values below 1.0 indicate lower concentration.
Concentration levels are interpretive categories created for this report and do not represent official BLS classifications.
Film Jobs per 1,000 Local Jobs shows the selected occupations’ share of employment across the local economy.
Real-Pay Rank is based on cost-of-living-adjusted annual wages from the main 2025 ranking.
Reported employment is displayed in K format and rounded to one decimal place; rankings use unrounded values.
