A grouped bar chart showing the labour force participation rates by gender amongst the population aged 25 to 59 in the fourth quarter of 2024. Among European immigrants, the percentage difference in employment rates between men and women exceeds 10 per cent. In particular, amongst non-EU immigrants of PBR origin (Russians and Ukrainians), there is both a low rate of female participation in the labour market (low labour force participation) and a high proportion of women in the group as a whole: 60 per cent of this population are women.
