Traffic fatalities in 3 Southeast PA communities over time

The City of Reading adopted its first Vision Zero Plan in 2025. In comparison, the City of Lancaster adopted one in 2020 and the City of Bethlehem did in 2016. These numbers show the number of traffic deaths in each city over time.

Reading has the highest population of the three cities listed, making the raw numbers not directly comparable. Instead, the graphs show how individual cities with differing populations have experienced fatal accidents over a four-year span.The approximate population for each city is included in parenthesis.
