Percentage of schools reporting COVID-19 cases for the state’s weekly dashboard

In many New Jersey counties, less than half of schools are reporting their weekly COVID-19 case numbers in time to be included in the state’s weekly tracking system. A state Department of Health spokeswoman said schools are reporting cases, but the data is not always arriving consistently due to school staff shortages and school calendar disruptions.
