Pickup per teacher is calculated based on the percentage of board-paid TRS and the pay range for teachers reported by the district. * Chicago Public Schools has its own pension system separate from TRS and only picks up 7% of teacher contributions for those hired before 2017. More recent hires received a 7% salary bump, but no pension pickup.
