The Greater Sacramento region issued a stay-at-home order on Dec. 9 because of a lack of ICU availability for COVID-19 patients. Weekly data shows some hospitals in the area facing over 90% bed occupancy and more than 60% of their total ICU beds occupied by coronavirus patients.
Some hospitals do not report COVID data, ICU data or overall hospitalization data.
