A grouped bar chart showing the labour force participation rates by gender for the population aged 25 to 59 in the fourth quarter of 2024. The particularly low participation of Moroccan immigrants in the labour market is due to the very low labour force participation of women in this group, who in most cases are not economically active outside the home. Thus, whilst 73% of sub-Saharan African women are in work or actively seeking employment, in the case of Moroccan women this figure is only 42%.
